Recently, we undertook a large Trailhead project and are beyond thrilled to announce that it was successfully completed in only 6 months! We are very excited and proud of the hard work and dedication that our Team put into this project.  

For the Ohio Trailhead Project, our team was deeply involved in the behind-the-scenes work, such as dirt moving, creating lots, and clearing nearly 2 miles of roadway. 

They also handled tasks like sanitary mains, storm pipes, water lines, and cement stabilization that were self-performed. 

The scope of work, as well as the time frame for completion, made this project a remarkable achievement for our workers!  

Despite not always being visible in the final product, we are thrilled we were able to play a crucial role in the success of the Ohio Trailhead Project.  

Project Details  

The project at hand was a significant undertaking, involving various tasks and extensive construction work. This project's main objective was to move 340,000 cubic yards (CY) of dirt, equivalent to about 34,000 dump trucks. This required careful planning and execution due to the magnitude and complexity of the project.  

To move 340,00 CY of dirt, our workers evaluated the current condition of the site, identified any potential obstacles or challenges, and determined the resources and equipment needed for the clearing process. 

In addition to moving a considerable amount of dirt, the project also entailed the installation of various infrastructure components. Specifically, it included installing 17,100 linear feet (LF) or 3.24 miles of sanitary main, 12,600 LF of storm pipe, and 9,750 LF of waterline. These installations were crucial for the proper functioning and maintenance of the site. 

Furthermore, the project involved the creation of 192 lots, which necessitates careful land development and allocation. This aspect required thorough planning to ensure that each lot was well-designed and built.  

Moreover, the creation of these lots involved numerous hours of land development and allocation to make sure that each lot was constructed properly.  

From clearing to grading the land, our team was diligent for the entire project.
